Handspan Cottage, The Cliff, Mevagissey | Sleeps 2 | £415 - £765 week
Handspan Cottage is a cosy 300 year old fisherman's cottage, full of character, tucked away from passing traffic and only a short walk to the restaurants, pubs and shope and just yards from the harbour. It has lovely harbour and sea views from all three floors, and unusually for a harbour cottage, a small courtyard. The cottage is less than a minutes walk from the South West Coast Path.
- On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen/diner with electric cooker and hob, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer, and dining table for two. The stable door gives guests views over the harbour while they cook and eat! The first floor consists of a double bedroom with harbour and sea views, and a shower room with wash basin and toilet. On the top floor there is a light and airy sitting room with exposed rafters, with sofa, TV, DVD player, bluetooth wireless speaker and ipod dock, and great views over the harbour and sea. Handspan cottage has a small raised courtyard to the rear with table and chairs; access is via 5 narrow steps.
- Heating and electricity included, as is bedlinen and bathroom towels. The sofa bed can be used on request, but occupancy is limited to two people. No smoking. 1 quiet well behaved small/medium dog welcome - £20/wk charge. Free wi-fi. Changeover day - Friday.
The Cliff is just yards from the harbour, and is for pedestrians only. A parking permit is included for the harbour car park (after dropping off luggage guests should display the permit and park in the harbour car park, on the opposite side of the quay). A refund of £25 will be given if guests do not require the parking permit. Access information - gently sloping pathway to the cottage, with level access into the cottage. Access between floors is by an open-tread, spiral, metal staircase.

Had the most wonderful stay at Handspan Cottage in Mevagissey. Such a beautiful property in a perfect location with spectacular views. I will definitely be coming back here. We really enjoyed our stay and felt relaxed, seeing all the special measures that you'd put into place. Fabulous location by the harbour, loved the views from the stable door. Lots of lovely places to eat, expecially the Sharksfin. We were so lucky with the weather, sun shone everyday! Mevagissey is my favourite place. I've many memories of this place, so we certainly will be back.
